Community
Temples of Sound is part of Sanctuary of Sacred Presence, the larger community and umbrella under which this work lives. We are also embedded with Lajja Space and connected with New Renaissance Bookshop, creating opportunities to gather in spaces already devoted to presence, creativity, learning, and connection.
Our intention is to help cultivate a living community where people can sound, regulate, explore, create, and simply be. These relationships allow Temples of Sound to exist as part of something wider than a single practice or event — a network of people and spaces committed to personal growth, collective connection, and more intentional ways of being together.
Healing House Project (in the works :))
As part of the wider vision of Sanctuary of Sacred Presence, Healing Homes are envisioned as supportive living environments centered on community care, self-care, personal growth, and intentional living.
The goal is to create more than just housing; they’re spaces where people can rest, rebuild, contribute, and participate in daily life together. That may include growing our own food, preparing meals together, caring for the home and land, sharing responsibility for home maintenance and upkeep, practicing meditation and movement, creating art and music, sharing skills, and supporting one another through life’s transitions.
Temples of Sound will be one of the practices offered within these homes through singing meditation, sound, self-inquiry, and shared regulation.
The emphasis is on creating a way of living that feels connected, reciprocal, nourishing, and rooted in mutual care.
